Just took the Fastest stock engine V6 record 11.25@125

This is a compilation video of my runs. Ending with my record run. My engine is 100% stock other then injectors and plugs .. Working the tune to get off the line better and push for 10s. Should be able to get there with skinnies and some transmission tune modifications.

Mods V6 3.27 manual diff
Overkill supercharger kit with 3.2 pulley
3" Down pipes
Alky methanol injection
E85 tune
Rear drag radials

Hope you guys enjoy

Take that big ass spoiler off the back and you might see some improvement on the big end. There is a lot of drag being created down track. I took my SS spoiler off and it drove better at almost 140 mph, no turbulence whatsoever. I was having problems about 1000 ft with a sidewind and it was moving around at lot. Took it off and never had an issue since.

I question whether the stock rear wing actually creates a problem. Have to wonder if your car having bias-ply tires with a low inflation pressure in the rear may be infuencing what you are feeling, not so much the stock rear wing. I say that because in my SS, with the stock body parts, on radial tires at full inflation, I have gone 170mph in a crosswind, and I did not notice any handling problem with my car. I am only talking about stability here, as I don't know the possible drag changes from removing it, because I have not tried it with-vs-without.

Oh, and congrats Dustya for the new PB with the car!

Thanks and yeah I agree with you either way I am not worried about it as I have more important issues to deal with atm like torque management tables and getting off the line harder.

I think with skinnies in the front and some tuning and a hero run I might be able to hit the 10s.

Yes I was running Bias plys with the same air in the slicks I always run and my stock SS wing did cause the car to move around but after I took it off I didn't and I've run in some pretty stiff crosswinds since then and it may not have done that as bad with a drag radial. With his V6 has lower hp he's trying to pull that through the air and not many drag cars run that tall of wing/spoiler as it will create down force but is probably loosing mph and et down track. That was my point.
