-I have detailed receipts of every mod.
-Car hasn't seen any forced induction (yet) but this will probably change in the near future if the car doesn't sell.
-Been to the dragstrip 1 time, and launched it 3 times.
~2000 miles on the built motor. 1 oil change with Joe Gibb's break-in oil. 2 normal oil changes soon after.
~6500 miles on the car.

-I also have brand new "18 F14s on Mickey Thompson ETS that'll comes with the car for an extra 1k
-I do not DD the car.
-The car drives great, no problems with the tune. It does have a big cam w/occasional surge, but I have no problems around town.

Will entertain trades for a clean built supra(cash on my end)

Are you selling because you dont like how it drives after the motor work or something? Don't seem like too bad a deal with all the money wrapped up in it. Seems like only 2k miles with the motor work you havent even had time to enjoy it.

Nothing wrong with the motor/car. It drives great, and the shop backs the car and their work.
Honestly I'm disappointed with the power, and I don't want to boost the car/put more money in it.
I'm coming from a 700hp EvoIX.

The motor is a fresh build done right, ready for big power.
Someone come and take it. I'm open to reasonable offers.
Over 20k invested in the build alone.

Great build, however how can it be disappointing? Its almost 600 N/A you're comparing it to a turbo car. where the limit of that is your pocket $$$.

Considering you dont have heads, or atleast its not stated I think those are good numbers... nothing N/A will compare unless its a LS7... Good luck with sale i understand how it can be disappointing after all you're still making less power. But honestly its not a fair comparison vs a lighter more powerful car.

*edit* you have build heads so i only would assume they are ported too, however my idea still stands on that its not a fair comparison. Also, you went with Vengance cam which is basically an off the shelf cam. While you could've gone with gpi, texas speed or pray performance directly with a custom grind cam and make more power. VR did their stuff back in 2016 or earlier and havent made any changes since. GPI, TSP and Pray are constantly getting better.

Price wise I understand, i too think mods for these cars are way overpriced, coming from jdm world myself with 2J swapped altezzas, supercharged type r, rx7, etc I guess they just use as an excuse that its american made too justify markets aftermarket price scheme. But its the name of the game and you have to spend double to keep up with a supra

Its a very nice build, may i ask why did you go with aftermarket pistons for a H/c combo? Or was you originally thinking of going boosted ?

thanks

You hit the nail on the head. These cars are very expensive to mod. I think the only cars more expensive are exotics, BMWs, & Mercs.

I originally thought the feeling of instant torque from the N/A-large displacement build would makeup for the lack of hp(vs a turbo car).
In my case this simply didn't happen. I vastly prefer the feeling from a large hp, big turbo, low torque motor.

Simple solution would be a power adder. But that is alot more money on these cars, just to keep up with bolt-on GTRs, Evos, Supras etc

I would rather just start with a car built around a turbo and go from there. *edit: would also prefer a lighter platform*

When we rebuilt the motor we used quality parts. I got a good deal for the forged pistons & rods.

I met Don Hardy at Sema, he builds some of the best engines around. His dad Don Hardy Sr. used to run pro stock, built engines and had a chassis shop. Great performance family. Should be a stellar engine.
