Carlye 15" conversion and Race Star Wheel
Is anyone running this package? I sold my drag pack and thinking of running the 15's this year, like the taller sidewall on the slicks. Thanks

I have the carlyle calipers.
Definitely wish I would of gone with the aerospace rear instead. The aerospace ones are lighter, cheaper, and the people who work at aerospace components arent jerks.

I have a few questions bout these rear brake kits too. 1 what is the weight difference between the two? Do you keep your parking brake with the Carlyle? I think with the Aerospace you don't have it.3 I believe with the Carlyle kit you change suspension parts trailing arms n wot not, will you need to change these parts to make the Aerospace kit work also and if you do ,does anyone have a complete package or what?

Mark told me I have to change one arm to make it work with the kit. I'm sure its a clearance issue

Carlyle racing calipers retain parking brake. Aerospace does not.
Carlyle racing setup is 20 lbs heavier (supposedly)..... no 3rd party confirmation on this yet. But the aerospace brakes have been pretty modest on their weights, so I imagine the 20 lbs statement is accurate. The "other part" you would need is the toe rod.... more specifically the bolt that connects it to the spindle

Front Aerospace brake kit saves 35-40lbs versus Stock brembo fronts. The Aerospace Rear does remove the parking brake. The Carlyle Kit keep the factory parking brake system in place. The Carlyle system to me seems to be basically V6 brakes. LOL. I have a Weapon X Motorsports Toe Arm for clearance for 15s. I just bought the Carlyle Brake and rotors nothing else.

Yes, Wildwood built caliper and V6 rotor basically. Not lightweight....if I would have waited, I would have gone Aerospace, but I am not switching now. LOL

15x10 racestars clear calipers just fine? How do you like the Hoosier DR2, I had the Hoosier slicks and really liked them.
