I think it looks nice.

My co-workers will think I'm crazy.

Bellisimo! I got the exact same one a couple months back for about the same price. I get compliments from random people a couple times per week. Now get that bad boy on a track after break in. You done good!

Thanks guys, yeah.. After the crash that ended my old car I was obviously thrilled that my wife and I were able to crawl out without any big injury! And, I was mourning the car a bit.

Finally, I thought, why didn't I do more with it? Go to the track, etc.? So, that is where the 1LE comes in. Once spring and summer come, we are going to have some fun!

Super nice car, looks awesome. I personally think the LT1 1LE is the best looking of the bunch / bang for the buck. Congrats!

So far I am loving it, and I am not near the break in. I was so upset about the hassle of losing the old car, but the 1LE is giving me a lot that I didn't have before.and my cost out the door isn't that different. I forgot to post a picture of the total loss (it looked worse in the daylight):

Where all should the guards be applied?

I'd get the ZL1 AddOns guards, they are basically small mud flaps.

I'd also remove the factory PPF in front of the rear wheels and cover the entire area with PPF up to the top of the wheelwell. This PPF sees a LOT of wear, without it that area of the car is going to get chewed up very quickly, even with the rock guards.

The 1LE stance looks awesome but the wheels are out a bit too far to be totally practical.

It looks like the ZL1 rears are out of stock in the deluxe version. Obviously, I will do my research, but since you guys are advising this:

Is rear the important place because of spinning tires, or should you necessarily do all four corners? At least installation seems pretty simple...

Thanks

I think it's important to specify 1SS or 2SS. Are all the prices discussed in this thread so far for 1SS 1LEs? I'm curious to know prices for 2SS. I'm wondering if getting a 2018 2SS 1LE for $42k OTD (this would include about $1743 in sales tax) would be possible and considered a good (or great?) deal. Or do you think I could shoot lower, like $40k OTD ($1660 in sales tax)?

I would be blown away if you found a new 2018 2SS 1LE for $42K OTD.
