Check out RLI.

RLI is the underwriter for Lockton. My prices are typically 20-25% less than a comparable policy from Lockton.

I used Lockton for years before a friend recommended RLI.

I went with on track. They offer the 2nd day for free, so its basically 1/2 price if you do a 2 day weekend event.

THIS!!! I was all set to use Lockton and then I heard about RLI. They seem to have better prices.

I know I'm playing with fire but I have yet to buy track day insurance. the 10% of value deductible is a turn off. I would need to do more than $3k worth of damage before it would even kick in. I may purchase some though for the upcoming track day at Auto Club Speedway since we're using the Roval track and the oval into that first turn seems like it will be a bit intimidating. RLI is quoting me $165 for 1 day at $30k value. The saying is Track day insurance is not worth it until you need it

Very nice! My quote was almost 70 bucks cheaper with RLI.

Remember, one is for the car, other is liability which is more important to protect all your assets. Two separate policies, I went with ontrack as it appears they only one offering it. I checked and my umbrella policy also has exclusion for use on track. In short, if your older and have more retirement assets, recommend getting liability..

I'm going to check that out. I have always been more concerned about off track excursions. I imagine the hold harmless forms we all sign before a track day aren't worth the paper they are printed on.

Autoclub definitely has a lot of walls and grass. I've seen a few cars wrecked there including a McLaren. Yikes
