I suspect that the computer might be more of an issue with regard to 'the bog' than the tire is on these cars. I talked to an M6 ZL1 driver who was using drag radials (don't know what else for mods) and he told me that it had the bog problem. Talked to another M6 ZL1 driver who had quite a bit of mods on his (Whipple, water/meth injection, etc) and he also had a lot of problems with launching on drag radials.

Fixed my bog with a JMS PedalMax, works really well.

Never heard of that product before. How do you like it?

The pedal max has nothing to do with the Torque Management bog in the M6 cars.

I don't think that thing will really fix the issue of ZL1s with M6 transmissions having weak launches. I think the real use of something like that is a 'feel good' thing for the street. Seems to me that someone here, maybe Snowblind, tested a throttle controller on an A8 SS at the dragstrip before, and found no benefit whatsoever ET wise.

If it bogs from a dead stop without one & then with one it doesn't, I'd have to bet it does something. It sure launches on the street well vs having it turned off. I will know for sure this Sat. when our track opens.

Dang, got to wait one more week to race, 40 degree cold weather kept the track closed today...
