Overheating

I just got TSP 1-7/8 headers installed two days ago and I’m currently waiting on my tune. I was idling at a drive thru and it said Engine Overheating turning off a/c. Are my headers causing this?

I've never heard of that before, Have you checked your coolant level?

check for DTCs. Something as simple as low engine temp can trip a code and give the same message

Maybe you messed up the temp sensor during the install

It could be a few things. You could have a bubble in your cooling system but if you didn't refill it lately that is unlikely. I would guess your thermostat got stuck and didn't open. Sometimes a couple quick revs will pop it open and solve the issue. I would check your temp sensor too, it's right next to the headers and may have been damaged during the install.
