So from what I'm reading, if I want the camera to stay on while I'm driving I will have to press the camera button every 30 seconds unless my car isn't moving?

Yes, there is a work around but its adding the corvette front camera set up but it adds cost to the kit, and this was a not bad way of doing it IMO,

Does this void the warranty?
Reason I am asking BC I am really interested...but I don't want to void the warranty just yet

Almost positive this would void warranty. I'd do it later on down the road when warranties are expired. Does regular backing camera (with radar and guidelines) still work as usual with this? Any future plans to record video to SD or something like the ZL1 and 1LE PDR?

What warranty, you got a car, now you want a warranty too?, GM is pulling warranty's for any thing you do its what they want to do so good luck to them, but ask your dealers service manager and see what he think.
