Aftermarket Starter
2018 ZL1 1LE here
Has anyone replaced the starter with an after market starter such as Tilton Part Number: TIL-54-40011 ? Spoke to Tilton tech and they said they only know that this particular starter fits LT4 but they didn't designate a fit for the Camaro Has anyone replaced with a performance starter not including reman? |

Are you having specific issues that you are trying to resolve?
The factory Gen 5 LT starter is a very stout piece. |

Is the starter dead or is it a grounding problem?

Slow start getting worse which takes a few tries before starting
H-6 AGM battery new Installed heavy ground wire Starter relay on order , rotated same relays in the mean time Starter has a DEI rap on it I've read others replaced the starter cable with luck Probably replace the starter with an OEM and look at replacing the starter cable Last edited by ZapperZ; 10-27-2023 at 04:19 PM. |
