Bigger tires on 1LE rims

Does anyone have any experience with 315, or bigger, tires on stock 1LE wheels? When I get to the end of my warranty and wear out my current set of tires I'm thinking of going with a supercharger and putting bigger rubber out back.

I have been thinking the same, but more for daily use. I have heard of people going 295/315's with Michelin's but I think that was more because that tire runs a little narrower than the OE GY's.

I believe I have seen some 325's on the back without major mods other that moving that wiring harness on the drive rear.

I did that back in 2017. Did the 295/335s on my 2017 1LE.

You can mount 315s on the 11" rears. That is within the rim width recommendations of the tire manufacturers. The problem isn't the width (315) - the problem is that there are very few options in 315/30/20 size. There are lots in 315/35/20, but those are 1.5" taller than the OE 1LE tires and that's a bad idea for a lot of reasons. You'll hurt performance in lateral grip, braking, and acceleration with those tires. You'd be far better off to stay with the stock 305/30/20.

I definitely won't be going with 35s! If I can fit 315/30/20 without issues I might give that a try, assuming I can find some.

I have 315/30/20s in the rear on 1LE replica wheels, same 43mm offset as OEM. No problems whatsoever (the driver side body harness is relocated)
