Do you run on the street with no filter? I did it in my 4th Gen turbo car but not sure I want to in this car.

Yes I do. It’s not really my daily so I think it’s fine.

Yeah mine gets driven once a month, maybe, so I think it would be ok. I will probably buy a blower guard and throw on it in the next few weeks.

I'm accepting sponsors.

Finally went racing this weekend. I had one window of opportunity and made it work. Drove an hour, made three passes, drove home and took the ol lady out to dinner. Ended up being stuck in a no box 1/8 shootout. They wouldn't let me run 1/4 because of the classes offered that day.

Long story short. It makes good power and pulls smoothly but needs a converter badly. It would not 60' for crap no matter what I tried. I'm happy to make some passes and enjoying the car with the family. I'm done spending money on it this season (1 month left). Next year, it'll get a converter and put down an ET that compliments the mph. This Friday is a 1/4 TNT class, so I'm hoping to get up there again. Its not going to bust into the 9's, but should be a solid 10 at ~130.

I did not get any videos because I went alone. Here's my three slips.

Hmmm, your 1/8 & 1/4 mile times are on the high side for a car that traps 136! Your 60’ is killing you. What kind of tires are you running? How are your launches? If that 60’ time was 1.5 you would run 10 flat or better I’d guess. Your car is making good power though!

MT ET street R 305s on 17s. Like we predicted, the factory torque converter is holding me back big time in the short track. No matter what i try, it is a dog outta the hole and out of 6 passes, have yet to get anything other than a 1.9. I can only bring it up to ~2k rpm.

Circle D will be getting a call from me over the winter, then it'll show a respectable ET.
