Still wonder why there was almost no drive train loss, what only 9% as even there analytical guy, before I even bought it, said a good rough estimated number is 18% drive train loss for automatic, not a exact scienceI know and varies from car to brand of dynos used. But I have seen others said they were mostly around the 270ish. Mine was a Mustang Dynamometer.

I let you in on a little secret here...dynos vary. I've been around dozens of different dynos in my life, and have seen this a few times before. Trust me on this lol. Regardless of whatever the number says, this car in the A8 is more like 270 rwhp. Took mine to the track, and even my trap speed supports this number in general

Got a quote of $600 for tune only because I have HPT already. The total cost of complete tune is much greater.

TCM unlock: $300 (send TCM module to HPT)
TCM credits: 4 @ $50 each = $200
ECU credits :4 @ $50 each = $200
Custom tune: $600

Looks like it will cost $1,300 after everything which is just NUTZ

Anybody get the Overkill tune with FI? how much did it cost?

When I went to get Procharger I told them I had installed a Trifecta tune on my car about 2 yrs ago the phone went silent! I said I take it u think I am a moron, he said he could think of worse names!!!The dyno guy said its a total $hit tune, even though my son and I thought it changed it to be a bit more aggressive acting. He couldn't wait to remove it and said it was not correctly running car, I don't know.

So if its 433rwhp and atleast 500 hp+- real HP, think my zero to 60 would go from Chevy's stated 5.1, seen most a tick or few higher for automatic, too more like around 4.0 like an SS? Never used timer on car, is it pretty accurate, son used it before cant remember what he got, long time ago...

I honestly don't think there is anyway around it...Trifecta is not known for their FI tunes on our cars even though they are 1/2 the price from what I can tell on their website. The Overkill tune requires the TCM to be tuned separately if you have a 3.27 rear end that can be installed like me, so thats still $500 extra.. Like I said the tune is more expensive than both the turbos and the intercooler put together. SMH... At the end of the day it will be worth it if I get numbers close to yours...

okay so trifecta tune i cant speak for forced induction but i can speak for full bolt on and trifecta tune i make 358 whp and 312 torque with their tune it works great for my 2018 v6 1lt with a8 trans, 2.77 gears in rear

Haha, that is all that matters. Congrats on your build, I know you'll have a lot of fun with her out on the street. Can relate with letting your son take the helm, big mistake lol. Incidently, if you give me your injector size and a datalog I will tell you exactly how much power you are really making to the rear wheels. Will also tell everyone your boost pressure...

I have no idea of injector size and datalog, I am no car gearhead, they are though. You talking about first stock run cuz after hours og tuning on Mustang dyno he settled on 433rwhp, i asked about boost when I had to drop something by and he said 7psi as mentioned on Procharger site, he was real busy idk..

Sounds about right basing it on the boost pressure; 7-psi is about a 49% increase, call it 50%. If your tuner had you at 433-RWHP, you must have been hovering around the 280-300 RWHP mark naturally aspirated. Timing also plays a part, etc. Either way, great numbers. Get some videos up of that thing whenever you get the chance, would love to hear it...

my mild bolt on ss made 427 whp. perhaps we should enter ourselves in an acceleration challenge? for the sake of science, ya know...

Ok if it is really 7psi making that much power that is truly impressive. Man please post that dyno graph!!!
