Catch can (JLT) contents explanation

So yesterday I was pulling my intake and throttle body off to send to PRAY for porting and I thought I would empty my JLT catch can. I found that it was full but when I poured it out, this is was its contents. This was over 2k miles and I run Corn and Driven DI40. Car has 3000 total miles.

This is not a daily driver and does some sitting, clearly. My smell is about 70% gone but it seems to have a fuel odor to it. Already have a nice oil coating in the manifold and intake ports but I assume that is normal. Doesn't seem like the catch can is doing much as far as containing the oil but idk. Not sure why the pic cam in sideways but its clear enough to get the point.

To me that looks mostly like water/condensation with a little fuel blow by but almost no oil...

Here is my Mishimoto Catch Can contents after 750 miles (505-1255 on the odometer):

This was nearly all oil, no real fuel smell at all...

Yah, looks like all the oil is in the intake and heads Not sure how I managed to accumulate so much water/condensation but I agree that that would seem to be the case. Your CC seems to be doing its job. I wonder if corn has any impact here.

Ya know, I thought about that. I guess its possible although this isn't my first rodeo and feel very confident that I got it right but I will certainly double check. I emptied it after about 900 miles initially and it had oil in it then, (although not much) but this time was very different.

Yikes! I probably have 1/5th of that, probably less on the JLT at 300 miles, granted mine does smell like fuel mixed with oil

If you're talking short trips it might be unburnt fuel from blowby. Especially if the engine isn't broke in and the rings aren't seated yet.

Keep in mind that is a 1.5 oz shot glass, not a beer glass... I had less than 1/2 oz of oil...
