Cosworth Toolbox
Morning,
Just downloaded the Cosworth Toolbox from GM. For those of you who have the PDR and are track junkies. There is great deal of data information embedded into those video files. I looked at my recent visit to Summit Point this past weekend. I was very impressed with the software. Who can argue with free! Attached is the link, if anyone is interested. Have a great and safe weekend! http://download.cosworth.com/downloa...r/GM/Index.htm |

Excellent tool. Especially for putting 2 videos side by side and comparing telemetry.

I hadn't figure out how to expand the graph, or if it can be expanded.

Has anyone tried the AliveDrive Race app they’re promoting now?

It doesn't appear that is providing anything more than the GM free product.

Had a bunch of 1.25 laps. My best was 1.25.39. I know it is slow compared to others that usually are in the high teens. But I was very happy, because it was 2.5 seconds faster than the last time I was up there.

That’s a nice improvement. How did it go at VIR on your last trip? Just curious what some of your trap speeds were on the front and back?

Thanks for sharing. I downloaded the app and a SD card reader with a Lightning cable. I'll test it tomorrow when the reader shows up.

This is truth. Cosworth has incredible amounts of data. The embedded video shown alongside data is also useful. I’d recommend trading data with a faster driver and using the comparison feature to see what you’re doing ‘wrong’.
My favorite nugget I’ve gleaned is that the rear of my car raises ~1” between 40-140mph, which corroborates the skittish feeling I get out back over ~130. Note: I think shock data only avail on mag ride vehicles.
