Reasonable Price for Cat-Back Exhaust Install

As the title states, what’s a fair price? I’m leaning towards the AWE track edition exhaust with the diamond tips. My brother receives a discount for their products so he can get them for $1100. I would like to go that route but I know a lot of shops will charge more if you don’t buy the pipes through them. What did you pay?

It’s an easy install to do yourself and you get to learn a little about your car. Ramps and a few hand tools and maybe 2 hours. On a side note I just installed the AWE touring and it’s raucous. I can’t imagine what the track would sound like. I’ve always modded my exhaust and the touring is insanely loud at WOT. Not trying to talk you out of the track but it’s going to be obnoxiously loud.

it's definitely not 2 hours unless you absolutely know what you're doing and even then, i doubt you're getting it done in 2 hours if you're working off ramps / stands.

A reasonable price depends on your area, but around here it's 5-600 $

I don’t have the ramps but I guess I could buy them with the money I’m saving. Do you have to weld anything?

Maybe I got luck buy I just paid a local muffler shop $150 and they installed a full Corsa Extreme Plus cat back system in a little over an hour for me. I would call around your local muffler shops.

Depends on the muffler shop you get to do the work. Contact the shops in your area and get estimates.

150-300 should be reasonable, shouldn't take more than a couple hours and if you account for standard hourly rates.
