Eagle F1 All-Seasons BAD Mileage
I have an LT1 with the stock Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric All-Seasons.
I drive conservatively, never done a burnout, and they're wearing extremely quickly. Done 6700mi and they're 5/32 rear, 6/32 front. Brand new was ~9/32. Since it's a square setup I will rotate, but this means the OE all-seasons can only do 14K miles... They're not sticky summer tires, they've been babied, and I live in California, driving on relatively nice smooth mountain highways. How's everyone else's mileage on these tires? I believe they are the stock tires on LT1 and all lower trims. |

That's really strange. Mine have about 25,000 miles and are at 6/32. I'm thinking I should get about 35k out of them

Factory alignments can be tricky, have you had your car looked at? At that mileage, an alignment is usually warranty covered for 12months/12K miles.

Same experience here with my LT1.
I never did a burnout in the car; rarely launched the car from a stop. I will say that while I didn't beat on the car; I did love going around corners quick. My rears lasted about 12,000 miles without rotating. Issue was, I didn't think they would need rotated that soon, so I didn't plan to rotate until 15,000 miles. I traded the car into the dealership since my 1LE arrived. The dealership added new rear tires before they listed it for sale. With a good rotation schedule, I would think that 20,000 isn't out of the question, but still very disappointing. |

Have you had the car aligned? (by someone who cares, not a dealer)

it seems apparent that performance tire wear hinges heavily on how hard the car is turned vs how many burnouts you do. i do my fair share of burnouts & pulls but no matter what the fronts still wear out before the backs. its obvious on the sc3, after hard driving the front tires will be chewed up.

Does Michelin not make Pilot Sport All-Season 4 run-flats in 2SS tire sizes? (245 40r20 front, 275 35r20 rear)
I want a solid all-season performance tire, but really prefer run-flat to carrying a spare. |

Not that I have found. There are several brands that offer run flats, but Michelin is not one in our size(s) at least. That’s what makes this decision so difficult between getting good all season performance tires & a spare or staying with the limited number of run flats that are mostly summer only.
