My dealer didn't ask for a deposit until my order was submitted. Do you have a receipt and if so what does it say? Otherwise, I would be demanding my deposit back if they can't provide what the deposit was supposed to get you. If they can't provide the order number they didn't provide you a service and they just took your money with nothing in return.

My experience with the dealership I ordered my car from was the polar opposite, the salesman provided me with all the available information without even me asking for anything specific.

JDaniels609, you were not rendered the service you agreed to pay for, so your deposit should be refundable no matter what.

Sadly I paid cash like a moron. The sales person I’m using is a friend of a friend but this is a low volume dealership with bad reviews so I’m worried they just didn’t get allocations. Sucks I already sold my other car too because now I cant seem to get a replacement. Very upsetting.

$500 cash deposit. Printed me a receipt with someone else’s name on it… went back in to have them correct it and they wouldn’t. I video taped the receipt and date and time when I walked out because it felt wrong. Unreal.

I ordered a 2SS on July 2nd. Status is 3000 with a TPW 8/16. I would try another Dealer if Possible if your order doesn't change here soon.

I’m sorry this is my first car I’ve ordered and also my first GM if it is specific to the brand, what is TPW? Unfortunately I contacted my other local dealer and they said they will not be getting any more 2022 allocations. Guess i was meant to stay in a dodge.

TPW = Targeted Production Week mean the week it will be built. Also dealer allocation changes every month so for them to say no more 22 allocation for the year is more misinformation. Ordering will be a different experience with every dealer. Some are great and some shouldn’t still have a franchise. Can have the same experience with any brand.

The dealer I ordered from pretends they know nothing and the “famous” worlds largest corvette dealer tells me they won’t get any more 22 allocations. Stay away from any 609 area code Chevy dealer is what I’ve gathered so far.

Kerbeck aren’t who I ordered from but they are the ones who claim they have no more 2022 allocations for camaros. They recently sold to a new company I was hoping maybe they were better.

So I spoke more with my dealer today.. I guess the issue is that they haven’t received an allocation for my 2022 ss yet. I am their only 2022 Camaro order which worries me. Is it possible that they just flat out won’t receive and allocation and would they know if that was the case?

I ordered a 22 2ss 1le a10 in April from one of the highest volume chevy dealers in the country and they still don’t have any allocations. They were “supposed” to get today, but only thing GM picked up from them was 4 suburbans…. Hopefully next Thursday
