LSA Conversion Camaro LT4 SC Reservoir Install

Here ya go
Install the 90 degree 3/4 inch rubber hose to the bottom barb facing forward. Forward is the same as the resivoir barb position when installing it to the bracket
Mount the bracket and resivoir to the stud on the driver side shock tower using the original mounting nut that currently holds the ac line bracket,leave the ac line bracket in place. Unplug the factory Intercooler hose fitting (remove purple clip and save) that is rearward most on the supercharger (also has an arrow Embossed in the casting showing flow out from the supercharger) Now that it is unplugged you can loosen the clamp and remove the FACTORY FILL fitting from the hose and discard it. Install the purple clip that you removed that allowed the the connector removal into the hose fitting that is 90 degree and snap it into the supercharger. Now take the other end of that hose and attach it to the resivoir barb that should be facing forward and tighten the supplied worm gear clamp.Like the pic on our website Install the bottom hose from the resivoir to the existing hose that you removed with the supplied clamps and position it away from the headers or exhaust manifold. Fill the resivoir with dexcool or water. Start the car with the cap removed and wait 10 sec for the pump to reach full speed and top off. Put the cap back on. Your done |

I could not agree more! The mod is relevant, and by all accounts needed! I have been hesitant to make the purchase because of limited instruction information and some folks having difficulty with the install. ADM says it is a 10 minute install.
Maybe someone might take the time to make a step by step with appropriate pics and the particular hose/part highlighted/circled would be a great help to all. Just MHO. |
