I’ve never used my PDR before so that’s another thing. GM is really good at sticking you between a rock and a hard place
You need an SD card (you can use an micro SD card, you just need the adaptor that it fits into to use it) and it needs to be formatted to FAT32. Follow the first post in this thread to setup the card:

Once you started the car and ready to drive, open up the PDR on the infotainment screen and press start recording. When you turn the car off, it'll automatically stop recording and save it.

What you're describing sounds exactly like the 3-4 shift but with 9-10. I wouldn't worry too much about it but you can always take it to the dealer and have it documented.

Since you have PDR, record what is going on and post it so we can see what you're seeing. I think the sport overlay with be good enough.
I’ll try to figure out PDR and get back to you if you think that will truly help.

When you shift from park to drive or reverse how does it act?

Park to drive is fine. Park to reverse sometime makes a little noise but that’s it.. and that seemed fairly normal to me.

Update: Trans seems to be getting progressively worse in Auto mode. Manual shifting is still flawless. I will still OCCASIONALLY get a decent driving session in with NO shift errors at all… I can’t figure out what conditions make this possible. Otherwise most of the time when I hop in the car now.. maybe once a week and once on weekends… the car is shifting terribly in multiple gears under many different conditions when the car is left in auto shift. Starting to get scary to drive even though car has no lights or codes. I sometimes get offered mondays off so if that’s the case, she’s going to Chevy Monday.

Yes I did, managed to lock myself out of my car in the process

It didn’t seem to do much, I would say 300-400 miles have been put on since then.

I'd still like to see the PDR video of said problem. Because it seems like you have either a bad trans, bad TCM or ?

I never took the time to do that but my guess is it’s obviously one or the other of the above stated. Not happy at all but from what I can tell this is a rare occurrence. Hopefully either way it’s easy for Chevy to sort out and I report back happy soon

I have certified service on top of manufacturer on top of certified pre owned so I should be covered at 15k bought at 12k

THANKFULLY, right as my attempt to show the mechanic my trans issues was about to fail… just at the end of our ride the shifting got a little clunky. He went into the office and told the service people that “ he acknowledged an issue with the trans”. Sounded like warranty speak for “we got this” so fingers crossed. Will report back with findings as soon as Chevy tells me.
