What's the current level of success of switching a stock boost ZL1 to e85? I've seen mostly issues with people who have tried. What's your thoughts? Thanks.

The only problem I see is the pump and injectors are too small to do a proper flex fuel conversion.

If we were to provide all the hardware an custom tuning I would be a success for sure.

What do you think the HP potential is on E85 in an NA engine with a ZL1 intank pump and cam with a +32% fuel lobe, but without LT4 HPFP and injectors?

Sorry I have not tested that combination.

Personally I would go after the pump and injectors first.

Fuel is the foundation on which we build power.

Seems like a trend where everyone wants to make power buy skipping the fuel supply,

Ted.

No, just wanting to know what is possible without a much larger investment for fueling. My car already has in tank pump and I'm probably going to add cam/heads/fbo and E85.

Yes the ZL-1 pump is part of the 1LE which is great and reduces your investment in fuel supply.

Certainly not singling you out.

HP is directly tied to fuel supply, you want to make as much power as you can and employ E-85 so it is strongly recommended you move to the LT4 hardware.

No point getting halfway through the project to find out you need more fuel supply.

Ted.

HUH? All we do is E-85 on these LT motors and do not require a pump nor injectors if it is NA.
