It's standard procedure to show sold orders as in transit as soon as these cars leave the factory, mine was the same way back in 2018. I called the dealership and they reassured me that the car was mine and won't be sold to anyone else (technically, by the way, it's theirs, they pay the manufacturer's invoice).

This is the case. Before my order was accepted by GM I called on multiple cars that I found in the Inventory Search and was told that many were customer orders.

Yes, I have. Also, my current order was put into Workbench as dealer inventory, not as a sold order, so the question is moot in terms of my particular case.

Customer orders do appear in the inventory search until the Dealer removes them or reports them sold.

I have the same question as geebjen. I check the Inventory Search every day and every day there are more and more "matches found near you". 2 weeks ago there were about 40 and as of today there are 190, which I think is a pretty good indication that the factory has ramped up production. So, since updated information is hard to come by I keep checking the search with the hope that one day I'll see "Showing 1 Exact Match" and see "18 of 18 Filters Match" and at least know my car has been produced.

You can do the same thing by checking your dealers inventory. That limits the number of Camaros to look for.

I do that too, but their site doesn't show details of arrival. They currently have 7 others in transit, including an automatic Rapid Blue 2SS 1LE that's scheduled to arrive today according to the Inventory Search.

4B00 (Bayed status) listed anytime a vehicle is sitting parked waiting on the next mode of transportation. When its loaded on a train or truck, it will get scanned and it will update the next day. Until then, its not moving. Keep in mind, EVERYONE else but the ordering dealer will only see event codes and that includes Chevychat. They DO NOT have access to dealer information.

Just curious, when your status changed to 3400 on 5/20 was your TPW still 5/16 or was it moved to 5/23?

Congrats. Mine was officially build as of last Wednesday 5/18. But still not in inventory search
