Definitely makes me want to hug my good dealer for being able to snag my '22 for below MSRP when it was in transit. The order I placed with my local dealer was never picked up by GM, would have been stuck paying the extra two grand for a '23.

Similar situation. I found a local dealer that made me a fantastic deal on a dealer stock 1SS1LE PDR that was inbound. I had one ordered and they graciously swapped them around. Everything 23 MY is up. I have a 22 F150 scheduled for production next week, the 23's are 2k+ on a base truck way more on high trim level models. I'm in the transportation industry,have a 22 M2 Freightliner being built next month, the 23's are on constraint till next spring, and 8k more!

Dang zl1s are gonna go for 70k ( gas guzzler tax included) with no options in ca. Plus markup and options… that’s gonna be a 90k after ttl easily. Zl1 1les are easily gonna be 100k cars in Cali. Wow!

I priced up my 22 vs 23. Total MSRP is $1715 higher, including the credit for missing seat climate and rear park sensors.

This makes me happier that I didn't wait. Was already quite happy though because I've been enjoying the car for months.

I think the OP works at a car dealer from his past posts, so probably got it straight from the Chevy dealer. The '23 model year builder isn't on the website yet. Go talk to your local dealer.

Can anyone explain how GM Supplier/Employee Pricing works? Specifically, does the dealer recover the customer discount from GM? In my case, the Supplier pricing is ~$2K discount off MSRP for a 2SS 1LE. My assumption is/was that the dealer recovers that discount from GM, so he effectively sold the car at MSRP. Is this accurate?

From my understanding GM covers “part” of the discount. About half from what I was told. I tried many different places but no dealer I talked to would honor it.

I guess me, my father, and a good buddy who ordered 23s at the same time, and they are all at 3000 as of 2 weeks ago, just got lucky.
