Laylo, congrats to you for still doing what you love . I’m 45 and I know what you mean . Tired of getting under cars and wrenching on them . Im not after the list either , im just trying to go as fast as I can . I’ll have Heads and cam in about 2-3 months and I bought a streetable cam to match up with my converter . If it goes 9.9. I’ll be happy. If it’s not enough , I can always throw a little nitrous at it and see what happens . It’s really hard to compete with the top guys . You got basically strip your car and go high ram to even have a chance

I got the regular street drag race kit. I actually weighed them on a bathroom scale and all together I saved 49ers off the front end and I guess some rolling resistance .
It made a bigger improvement then I thought because it ran this number at 1700DA. And thanks for the kind words fellows. I have heads/cam sitting in my garage but don’t know if I want to wait for cooler weather to try and go 6.69 on bolt ons. |

Here are the rest of the passes that night . Da was 2400-1700. I believe of Da was better this car would of had a 6.69 in it . But I’m tempted to just throw the heads/cam in there and run 9’s in the 1/4. |

Wowzers! That’s light! What did you do for weight reduction (besides drag pack) to get down that low? Nice times BTW!

Thank you . Front sway bar, belly pan, pass seat, lightweight battery , rear seat and trunk liner , dragpak, aerospace front Brakes , front bumper support , Windshield washer reservoir , and headers/no cats eliminate some weight . Car is an LT1 with no aero or wing, base model. Car still has stock exhaust and stock drivers seat.

That is for sure light. Mine was 3620 with 1/4 tank, that's bone stock weight. That's less then my C7 weighed when I went from stock exhaust on my C7 to Speed Engineering Long tubes and X pipe I save 45 lbs plus the drag pack took off another 50 lbs which got it down to 3274. I may do that on this car also. Just haven't' decided yet sense I should be going back to a Magnuson SC pretty soon. So, I'll add another 75 lbs or so.
