Hardwireing Dashcam with backup battery, acc ignition swtiched fuse

Does anyone know which fuses in the trunk are acc ignition switched BESIDES the wireless charger fuse in a 19+, prefferably something with a 15 or 20 amp fuse.

Thanks

Does it have to be in the trunk? My switched dash cam I tapped into the OnStar module with an adapter off of Gen5DIY. Pretty easy install. As a female with general electrical knowledge I had zero issues.

I'm using a backup battery.
So the Camera connects to the battery, which connects to power. With the battery connected to the proper fuse it only charges when the car/acc is on. It's the setup I've had for 4 plus years and just keeps my mind at ease with concern to excessive power draw by not drawing when the vehicle is off.

I've also been having issues with said setup since I moved it from my old car to the camaro and the only real difference right now is it's using the wireless charger fuse which is only a 5 amp and like I mentioned it's recommended to connect to 15 or 20, I'm basically trying to trouble shoot. On paper the issues shouldn't have anything to do with the fuse we're conncted to because the battery is charging and is fully charged but my Camera keeps rebooting.

Mine is only on when the vehicle is running also, hence what I meant by switched. 3 years, no issues.

If your camera is already hooked up, why are you asking about trunk location for power? My apologies if I'm not reading your question right. I just so happen to be out installing a new AGM Battery today, so I'm in a good spot to answer questions or take pics.

I got the AC DELCO group 48 for $188. I was tickled pink. Dealer was smoking crack wanting $270 alone for the battery. AutoZone was $220+. Didn't mean to hijack. Just excited.

It connects to my backup battery so that even when the car is off I have parking mode recording. The backup battery is what connects to the fusebox.

I'm looking for a different fuse then the wireless charger one to connect it to a slot designed for higher amperage output. The wireless charger fuse is only a 5 amp. I need an ig switched fuse that will kick out 15 plus. I tried a few I thougt would make sense like the amp and radio but those are contant power.

Grab a test light or a multimeter and check the fuses for one that does not have power when the car is off and has 12-14v when acc is on, that is the best way to tell for sure rather than relying on internet wisdom.

Check the fuse for the wireless charger. I think the wireless charger is turned on with ACC, IGN or engine running.

He specifically stated besides the wireless charger in the OP.

Since mine is a 2018, I'd rather not give potentially misleading info, the multimeter idea is solid.

I have an iVOLT battery in my glove box and run power to it from the engine bay fuse box,

As for finding the right fuse to tap into in the trunk just get a digital multimeter, turn key to acc, and test around some of the fuses until you find one that is powered. Turn key off, test it again and make sure it's powered off, if so, good to go.
