Quick Update:

anyone that plans to do any carbon fiber parts make sure you get them coated ASAP!

my hood was already starting to fade from the sun.. car is now dropped of at a shop to get paint corrected and coated.

(had the carbon parts installed less than 3 weeks!)

its either go CF from Anderson or Gary's Custom Fenders.

yup i always recommend getting carbon fiber parts recleared and sometimes even smoked to add a lil bit of a custom touch as well depending on the color

Can you elaborate on what clear you added? Did you have your shop take them back down to bare carbon and then spray factory clear over them? Or did they just spray more clear on top? Or did you just get the ceramic coated and then Xpelled? Car looks great. Is that the trunk with built in spoiler? Or just the spoiler?

Did you install the hood yourself or did you have a shop do it? Also, are you still using the stock hood shocks? I see on Anderson's website they advise against using them.

Thank you buddy! I got the car ceramic coated and xpellee that’s all. It’s full carbon trunk with molded spoiler (one piece)

Yes , I installed the hood myself. Took less than 5 mins to install but adjusting took the most time.

I’m using stock struts no issues. Only thing is it’s powerful so when I open the hood it pushes it up.

Were there any significant weight savings with the CF fenders and trunk?

The fenders not so much but the trunk was noticeably lighter. Didn’t weight them

I really thought the fenders would've made a big difference considering their size. They do look great regardless!

I find it odd that I cant find any info on the weight differences. Even on Anderson's website. You would think they would want people to know that as it is one of the primary reasons to go CF.
