Well I just realized I never updated you guys in here on my new time. I Don't know if you guys all follow me on instagram or not so I am not sure if its just redundant posting here as well or not but I figure why not maybe some new guy coming in would like to see it!

Here is the youtube video.. Don't have to watch the whole thing of course there is inside car clip outside car clip and me getting a little excited picking up the slip! Slip is shown at the very end.

I was supposed to get back to the track on friday and then today but both days rained out. Really need to get my 60ft down.

Also as you can hear in the car and even on the outside clip my Torque converter is slipping 4th gear.. but I think its unlocking for some reason because hptuners is logging the slip @ 2500 flat everytime. and I feel like if it was slip that number would be a little more random. I am learning alot and its a ton of fun.

Sorry the audio from my camera is garbage I upgraded firmware that day and this was the result.. The outside video was random person that found me asked me if I wanted it so its not so great either but you will get the experience either way.

Right on, great run! That dude is awful at racing lol. His reaction was damn near almost 2 seconds after the light turned. Way to smoke people in a V6.

Edit: wait...did they give you some sort of handicap? I saw the in-car footage later your lights light up first? Or am I crazy?

Hey Dustya...I would personally feel AWESOME if I ran that in a V6. What was your boost level at for that run? I'm thinking that you have to be at at least 425 to the wheels or you had a phenomenal Launch for that to happen! Also did you get tuned with HPT as well?

Awesome run! Thanks for sharing, Dustya. I loved seeing your car in person with Terry during its first testing at Bradenton and getting a chance to run against it. Now, my car would see your tail lights. Very impressive.

Great run, I sent you a pm about your trans issue, it may be a fix for your problem. I was experiencing similar, and was able to fix it in the tune.

Ahh he is new to racing like me , LOL no handicap just test and tune no clue why the tree did what it did..

460/380 are my last numbers - There is still more timing to throw at it but I have bigger things planned so no need to stress the motor and risk breaking something. SBE 5th gen 6th gen record is 11.28 I might chase that..

As for the launch yes that was my best launch yet wish the audio was better because right as I launched I already knew it would be my best run but the mic issues just cut my voice out almost completely.. LOL I got so excited.

As for tuning yes we use the hptuner suite for tuning.. I like it because I am a researched and numbers guy so i like being able to log my own car and understand whats going on.. I spent about 100+ hours watching videos and learning the "ropes" of tuning but its so involved I left it in the hands of others.. I work with stickys dyno and performance in vero beach and edgar from Dsmlights tunes it.. but its nice to know what they are doing and why and understand all the lingo.

I am currently learning about the TCM and trying to figure out why the converter is unlocking in 4th gear Jason @ JACFAB gave me some stuff to try and I should be back out at the end of the month. If I can get a good 1.7 60ft launch that should get me the SBE record.. For LFX and LGX motors

LOL yes all the time... If you listen closely to the background talk of the outside shot.. there are a couple people.. What is that ? I think its a zl1 ? Of course!! Honestly the only reason I switched tuners in the first place is Justin @ stickys made my custom fabbed downpipes they offered to tune my car edgar and justin were super excited to work with the V6 platform. I think a step away from the typical day to day LS stuff was exciting for them LOL and thats why I chose the shop, Because they were excited about it. Will from overkill is every bit as good of a tuner if not better with this platform I just decided to go with someone local take it to the dyno tune it build that relationship with them and I am glad I did. Just easier for me with my crazy schedule.

However if you have IG hit me up anytime man I answer a ton of questions on there and probably the fastest way to get a response if you need something answered or if you just want to shoot the shit.

I am happy to share any information.
