Magnuson TVS 2650R powered COPO Camaro - 7.743 @ 176.84
"The unofficial elapsed time record has been lowered in the Factory Stock Showdown class. This time Stephen Bell the number two finisher after the 2018 season was completed is now the top dog with a 7.743 @ 176.84 blast made at Houston Raceway Park Monday. Digesting the rest of the numbers from the run show a 1.160 60’ time and a 4.968 @ 141.91 mph in the 660’. The Stanfield Racing Engines equipped Chevy Camaro is unofficially the first Factory Stock Showdown car to run in the 7.70’s at over 175 mph." I talked to Stephen a day after his 7.74 pass and man was he stoked. They got whipped all last year by the Mopars and were very silent about the power deficit they had. Not now that Maggie can pull a freight train. That won't be quickest run this year, they have very little time behind the wheel with this 2650 combo so get ready for more killer wheel stands and big numbers in really good air.

I forgot to mention that the quickest pass by a Copo last year was a 7.99. That's 2 1/2 tenths and several mph. They were running a something different last year.

Full track 1/4 mile. Nhra only runs 1000' for top fuel and funny car. Prostock on down runs 1/4 mile.
