Doesn't GM crack down on Dealers asking more than MSRP on its performance cars.

How cool is it that you can buy a 650 + HP supercharged car with a factory warentee.

I bet that Callaway is amazing.

Technically it is 630 hp. I need to get it to a Dino and see what it says. But I really do love the car and was not a Chevy guy before getting it.

Actually I went shopping that day to get a GT350 but ford would not let me test drive it and they were marked up 6 or 7K over MSRP.
I just looked at your album in your profile and I agree that your Callaway Fifty looks better than the ZL1 plus it is very unique which I really like. Are there any other Fifty Callaway's to your knowledge? I wish I had chosen it for my Fifty convertible.

My dealer, Dave Smith in Idaho, sells Camaros and Corvettes with an Edelbrock E-Force supercharger already installed. That's how I bought my 2SS. Dave Smith does a lot of this kind of off the showroom floor performance packages and usually have one sitting on the showroom floor. Look up Dave Smith motors Idaho and give them a call. They even have a fly-and-drive program. I think my supercharger cost was $8,600 installed and I still got all of their discounts on the car itself.

BTW, if the E-Force is installed by a certified mechanic, it comes with a 3yr/36K warranty on the drive train.

Another dealership near me, McCurley Chevrolet, sells Camaros and Corvettes with packages from Kaizenspeed that are NA and carry full warranty. Their packages are rated at 485 BHP stage I and 565 BHP stage II.

4. How much will it cost ?

5. Is there a better way to get the HP and still keep Warranty ?

Thanks guys !!
1) -- That depends on the dealer.. AND, while most won't... It's wrong for people to say a concrete No as that's incorrect. There are some dealers that have a performance shop that do work like this all the time and they'll still warranty out parts of your car as appropriate

2) -- Not on parts you dink with, replace or modify.. However, if you blow out an A/C compressor and it's not due to a misaligned belt from your S/C assembly, then it can still be covered. I had a 2010 2SS with a maggy and I had this done for 0.00 as it was a known issue. Same with exhaust issues, etc.

3) -- That depends on which S/C you do and I'm not in the know on all of that.

4) -- Variable on location, shop time quotes, what you have vs what you need, etc.

5) -- Already covered earlier.

I don't think it's factory, anything that Ford corp will deny due to the addition of the supercharger ford performance will pay

A10? Does Callaway change the A8 trans to A10? That would be awesome.
