The only down side I see with foam ramps is you don't want to drop them near the leading edge, you may damage them. As well, I always sweep that area of driveway to clear any pebbles, they'll dent the foam. Mine look brand new after 30 +/- uses. I slide a 5 gallon bucket under the car to capture all 10 quarts. Easy peasy... |

After having watched this video years ago I made the same extenders and to this day I still have and use them regularly. They are not quite as convenient as just having the long Race Ramps but they work and easy to build.

I presume they work for a ZL1? I'm looking to purchase a set for oil changes on my ZL1. I used the Race Ramp online calculator and they provide many model numbers that are possibilities. I'm "thinking" the 56-race-ramp model would work? I just would like to confirm what works. Thanks, Tyrolblue67 |

These are the ramps I have. I’ll send a pic of the Z approach angle later today or tomorrow.

I have the 56" Ramp Ramps that I paid $235 for off Amazon and my ZL1 drives up on them perfectly with no issues.

As promised, here are the pics. As a note, for the ramps I have, you’ll either need use a small piece of carpet or rubber matting @ ~ 3/8” to the leading edge of the ramps. Otherwise, you may scrape the underside rubber air deflectors.
Good luck with whatever you choose. |

So if the 67in barely clears the lower air deflectors under the splitter, how the heck to do the 57in work?

The angle of the 57” ramps @ 8” tall is exactly the same as 67” ramps @ 10” tall (10.8 degrees)
The only benefit of longer ramps is overall height. |
