Yes the VIN's are sequential, but there are 2 cars running on the line at the same time and use the same VIN #, and if they start at 1G1XXXXXXX0100001 then your car is the 3361 car down the line, That means line has been up for 2+ weeks now, that does not mean they where running the Camaro's all that time.

I just got bad news from my dealer. They said that the car got delayed now till 9/10. They called higher ups and apparently there was a production issue with a part not being in or was a part issue on the production line.

I ordered a white zl1 with a manual 6 and nothing else. I stuck with the painted heated extractor "I like that it matches all the trim" and no sunroof. I'm hoping the dealer will have some more details as to what happened. He did say they made some calls to find out what happened but he didnt say much beyond what I said earlier. The dealer is on the way home from work for me. As long as I dont get stuck working over time I'm going to swing by and chat with them some more and see what exactly they got told.

Good choice, I definitely preferred the painted on mine. If I still had it the stripe would be gone by now.
