Need Help! Bad wobble after installing Pads and turned rotors
I’m installing new Stop Tech carbon ceramics so I decided to have the rotors turned just to get the surfaces fresh. I put it all together and during my first test drive there’s a wicked wobble when applying the brakes. Seems like they screwed up the rotor machining. Any advice? I removed all the rotors and bringing them back for another try but is there anything I may have screwed up installing the pads? It looked like the rotors were on square but there’s definitely a high spot when I rotate them. New pads went on exactly like the old ones. I cleaned the pins and metal clamp pieces too.

I had the rotors redone at another shop and sure enough he found one of the rears way off. Everything is back on the car and brakes work great now! I was really second guessing my work but now I’m vindicated! I’ll never have Pep Boys turn my rotors again!
