2016-18 front grille + rear light/bumper swap on 19-20 SS

After seeing some of the budget 2020 SS LT1 models that are out there - I was wondering if its possible to swap out the new and not so attractive tail lights/bumper to the 2016-2018 version? I am wondering if its the same story with the front end as well I prefer the 16-18 large grill (reminds me a a tad bit of the e92 M3's although I dont really mind the 2020 mid cycle refresh as much as the awful 2019).
I figure its better to have the newer model with the A10 and a full warranty then buy a used 17-18 A8 and deal w the mechanical headaches. A couple cosmetic changes shouldn't cost more than 2-3g I would think?? Let me know if any of you guys have done this successfully or if its even possible.

I am looking at the front bumper cover and headlights option as well, as I have read here that the 2016-2018 can swap in place of the 2019-2020. Seems like it would work for the taillights and rear bumper cover as well, but I have not read about anyone making that swap... interested to hear!

Yea most threads I have seen the opposite about adding the 19/20 tail lights/bumper on the 16-18sh. If i can have the new and improved camaro (with non-shuddering A10) plus the aesthetics of the 16-18 that seems like a great combo.

I think the front end conversion would look cool to do, but the rear end, I like the 19-20 tail end. The 16-18 looks like left over parts from the c7 vette.

I think the 19-20 look like leftover parts from the old mailibu.
I can't stand the muffin top on the new rear bumper.

Has anyone confirmed that a 16-18 SS front bumper cover will fit on a 2020 LT1?

Not at all, even when squinting pretty hard it's more like the C8 Vette, which I'll take any day over the 19-20 tails that look like parts from a C6 plastic welded together into swimming goggles.

I think the 19-20 headlights and DRLs have a different shape, it won't be a 100% direct bolt-on.

I finally completed a similar front and rear swap with my 2021 3LT RS. See my summary DIY forum post for information about how to "de-fresh" a 2019+ Camaro.
