2022 Chevy Camaro Gets Limited Heated And Ventilated Seat Availability

My wife's ZL1 vert was supposed to have been built last week so I hope things didn't get delayed and her car isn't affected by the latest semiconductor constraints.

I have a Zl1 that also was scheduled to be built last week but it didn’t make production for some reason.

Did you order a coupe or convertible?

My order status hasn't changed and I checked with my dealer today.

Chevy build site now has "Not Equipped with Driver and Front Passenger Heated Seats
($50)" under the summary package options. Glad I just put a deposit down for a vehicle in transit already built and is only missing the rear park assist.

I'm thinking that might be the better plan than eventually getting my order missing multiple features.

Thinking along the same lines myself. I was actually looking a couple of weeks ago, but wasn't able to find one in transit that I liked, so I decided to wait for my order.

Now, thinking that I might have to cancel and reorder a 2023 model, I'm wondering if GM is really going to de-content the 2023 cars right from the get go and not even offer a number of features.

At this point I'm hedging my bets, and I put a deposit down at a dealership on an allocation for a Toyota GR86 as well. While the Toyota would be my second choice, at least they're not removing features left and right, and the way things are going I'd probably end up getting the GR86 before the Camaro anyway.

From what I’ve been reading these missing features will be fixed by dealerships once this chip shortage gets better … it’s a bunch of bs i agree, but I want a ZLE so I’ll put up with it. What I won’t put up with is a 5 to 10k markup or being forced to buy an electric Camaro in a few years.

Just goofing around on the Chevy website and found a new 2021 ZL1 1LE on the lot in Daytona. Not sure if anybody wanting a ZL1 would take a year old car but it's there and not showing a markup on the Chevy website.

p.s. Palutz, how was that Z28? Still want to collect one of those. Is it worth the money?

The Z/28 was an amazing track focused car … the LS7 screams with a great power band. Biggest negative of the car was the lack of creature comforts and that was a deal breaker at the end of the day. I got mine for 42 with 2000 miles on it and sold it for close to 50 with almost 10k miles. The crazy market made it easier for me to sell it to upgrade to the ZLE. One day I’ll buy another Z/28 for the stable. Get one if the prices come back down to earth.

A few weeks ago they wanted $8K over sticker and wouldn't budge. I passed. It was a car GM demoed (display not driven) at Daytona 500 apparently.

Could have bought one 4 years ago out of Georgia for $40,000 with 1500 miles on it. Always wanted a red one but truth is I want 2. 1 red and 1 black. That's what I was looking for when I found my 2010 2SS. Main thing that swayed me then was those comforts. Now that I have a 2022 2SS if I buy a Z28 it won't matter because I would not travel in it. It would just be for fun/show. Always wanted a stock red one and a black one that I put a blower on. Imagine the LS7 with a Mag supercharger....

This was my concern. They remove these features from 23s with no option for a retrofit barely reduce the cost for said featues but then overall prices go up because of inflation.
My order thats been at 1100 status since christmas is a rapid blue 2ss with a bunch of options.

The car in transit I put a deposit down on is a rapid blue 2ss 1le with some of the same options I wanted plus the standard ones 1le comes with.

Wasn't necessarily looking for a 1LE but thats all I could really find in rapid blue with options I wanted.

Yeah I had it in Hot Red and it was a beauty … saw a black one here locally and it was sinister looking. Prices will come down so I’d recommend it for the race car feeling the Z/28 has.
