Sorry for the wrong impression but I didn't say anything about being a Camaro, just the motor LT5. But I wanted to share with peeps that do their own mods and wanted to purchase what everyone has been wanting. They will be the first to have a ZL1/ZR1

Probably more like 20k,

Lt4 is $15k, can’t see it being anywhere close to double that

What good is it if it doesn’t fit in a Camaro?

unless GM releases a retrofit brain for the dual inject that will also work with all the other Camaro "stuff" this will be something for street rods etc.
At the cost, it is better still to build your own...

Other than the dual-injection system, is there anything in the LT5 that would benefit the Camaro versus a built LT1/LT4? Can't we hit the same power levels without the dual-injection?

Yes, but dual inject has lots of head room. I can see guys running the standard Camaro brain on the DI, and a aftermarket brain, maybe even a batch fire (all injectors at the same time) for the rail FI.

Here is the price....

"According to Curt Collins from Chevrolet Performance, you can order the engine from an authorized Chevrolet Performance dealer for a street price of $17,915. The LT5 engine also comes with a two-year, 50,000-mile warranty from the factory"
