Aeroforce & Aeroforce Vent Gauge Pod Installed

Hey guys, I recently installed a (new to me) Aeroforce Interceptor & Vent Gauge Pod in my ZL1. I won it in an auction on E-bay for $210 shipped. Couldn't pass that deal up. I'm no stranger to the Aeroforce Interceptor either... I had one installed in my Cobalt SS back in the day, and loved it. I really like how this gauge pod simply snapped in, and required no cutting or modification to fit. I had everything installed in about a half hour. Today after work, I'm finally going to get a chance to take my car for a little ride, and I can't wait to log some parameters.

Google is your friend (if you let it):

RPM
MPH
Intake Air Temperature (post Intercooler)
Ambient Air Temperature (pre Intercooler)
Engine Coolant Temperature
Exhaust Gas Temperature (PCM Calculated)
Transmission Temp. (auto trans)
Manifold Pressure (vacuum/boost) displayed in PSI
Fuel Temperature
Battery Voltage
Battery Temp
Injector Pulse Width in msec.
Injector Duty Cycle (%)
Air Flow Rate into engine
Long Term Fuel Trim
Short Term Fuel Trim
O2 Sensor Voltage
Barometric Pressure
Ignition Advance
Base Spark
PCM Spark Adjust
Fuel Status (open/closed loop)
Wastegate Solenoid Duty Cycle (%)
Knock Retard
Knock Sensor Raw Voltage
Throttle Position Percentage
Throttle Position Sensor Raw Volts
Calculated Net Horsepower
Engine Load
Transmission Slip
Current Transmission Gear
Torque Delivered to Transmission
Torque Converter lockup status
Brake pressure
Brake Booster Travel
Steering Angle
Non-driven Wheel Speed
Lateral G's
Yaw
Fuel economy (instantaneous and average)
P-ratio - pressure ratio MAP/Barometer
2 user configurable analog inputs**

My question is the ease of installation and lower price make this a better choice than the dual pillar installation?

I had the same set up in my ZL1 before I sold it. Best gauge for use in this car IMO. Just like you I had one in my Cobalt SS

I have a carbon fiber ring for the gauge for sale if you're interested.

I'll keep that in mind. Thanks!

I don't know if it's a better choice.... that can be subjective, but for someone like me who is keeping the car stock, the single Aeroforce is more than enough for logging parameters.

I just installed mine a few days ago, haven't had much time to play w it. It reads everything and I've set warning lights to come on if fuel pressure drops off, and shift light. So far I like it a lot.
Main reason I got it is to read ethanol percent

Did you buy the Wideband sensor kit also? Any issues with getting it connected to the SCT?

I did not get the wideband sensor kit yet. I plan on it though.

Should not have read this Thread. Man was all set to buy the Autometer DashControl OBD Unit that "uses" the DIC and HUD but wow that looks really Clean. Was looking at the Dual Interceptor/Pillar mount as well. Installing Wideband Sensor here. Now which way to go? Best Wishes.

Lol... sorry.

Yeah, I looked into the Autometer DashControl for the HUD as well, but I couldn't pass up the deal I scored on the Aeroforce and Aeroforce gauge pod.

Both are great ways for monitoring the car though.
