At that price is it worth it vs going TT?

The Magnuson system is a nice upgrade. I was always shocked that Whipple never came out with something for this set up.

We recommend a fully ported LSA supercharger before you go that route. With the proper pulley set up you can see gains of over 50rwhp. We have them in stock.

HP doesn't seem to be hard to find in the LSA, what I am consistently fighting is Heat Soak and the Maggy seems to address a lot of that.

Is there any core exchange program for my stock one? Does the ported one offer the cooling upgrades and then Maggy?

Exactly my thoughts as well. Expensive but worth it of the cooling upgrades keep the IC fluid down while adding HP...

For what it’s worth no one with a ZL1 or CTS-V has went any faster with a aftermarket blower

Looks like it hit the brace. The new model says it clears the brace.

You are correct on your statement of not going any faster, in fact there are some apples to apples comparison on Livernois website, there are two videos one is Will's ZL1 with the stock 1900 supercharger and the other ZL1 is Lola's with a Heartbeat 2300 same size tires, wheels, same dyno and same track and the 1900 ran a better time in 60ft, 1/8mi and 1/4 mi verses the 2300 that made slightly more hp on the dyno. The 1900 is just more efficient, accelerates and make hp quicker and it's not even a ported 1900 charger.

Lola’s ZL1 - Heartbeat 2300 --------------Will’s ZL1 - OEM1900 ------------Will’s ZL1 75 shot NOS OEM1900
60ft --------------------1.529 -------------------60ft 1.516 -----------------------------------------60ft 1.418
1/8mi------------------ 6.396 -------------------1/8mi 6.384 --------------------------------------1/8mi 6.232
1/4mi ------------------9.899 -------------------1/4mi 9.839-------------------------------------- 1/4mi 9.696

I’ve ported and pulleyed the GM ZL1 blower, added more cooling, NW 102, 5" RPM CAI, and just added post rotor meth from ProMeth. It’s handled heat well...

I’m not sure what the cause was I know the lid was a weak point from what I understand I’ve been told the new lids have been reinforced but I’m not 100% sure

Pretty much what I’ve seen I believe there’s better ways to spend your money although there are some really fast guys on here if you want to know what works and what doesn’t go to any CTS-V forum or page on Facebook and see what they’re doing or have done they’re light years ahead of us

Nice set up. I'll have to check out your build thread.

Twin Turbo cars put up great hp numbers, but if you are interested 1/8 mile running they just do not produce the ET numbers without going with Hi Stalls and many end up going with 4L80 Tranny. I see a lot of races down here and many turbo cars having as much as 200 plus horsepower over the Positive Displacement Blowers still getting beat in the 1/8 mi and some even in the 1/4 mi now 1/2 mi is a total different story. I am talking apples and apples being the same type of cars against each other. I do not know what eaton did to that OEM 1900 but it rocks for what it is, I know they (eaton) sell the rotors for the heartbeat 2300 but they are holding something from the recipe.
