Jokes aside, I understand, it's a balancing act between enjoyment and responsibility, and once the thrill tapers off, the latter begins to dominate. I'm sure tracking the car boosts the former, plus that environment is way more conducive to it anyway.
LOL I think it just got to the point where I knew what the car was capable of and didn't need a reminder as often......and there was that one run in with Johnny Law that changed my perspective real quick lol

Johnny Law has been pretty good to me so far. 4.5 years of driving a Camaro and pulled over 4 times. Two warnings, one ticket that got knocked down from 91 to 84, by the officer, and one full ride ticket for 90 mph.

In the 7 years of driving my Mustangs, two speeding tickets 71 in a 55 and 88 in 65 and one ticket for driving through the yellow painted median.

The one that made me rethink my useage of WOT was a warning for failing to yield at a yield sign.....but had he gotten there a minute or so earlier probably would have been watching my car and someone elses get impounded if you know what I mean lol

They have been good to me also. One time i was doing a short WOT burst in a 45mph zone in my C6 and got off with nothing and another time doing the same going across US19 at WOT in my 2010 5.3 colorado.

I've scoped out all the freeway onramps in my area area that are 1+ mile long before they merge. So I can WOT my RS from a rolling 10 mph start and hear the LGX, and Atak pipes sing to me until I back off at 110 mph at end of the ramp. Weather permitting I WOT several times a week.

I'm a smart speeder so no tickets!

I never have gone wide open throttle as it is an unlawful act. I always adhere to our rules of the road.😜👍
