Whipple IAT's

So I know these engines like to run hot but what is to hot when it comes to IAT's. Newly installed Whipple at a safe 6lbs is making 633RWHP and 622 Torque. With ambient temperatures today around 88 just driving local the IAT's were 125-128 hitting 135 a couple times. Should this be addressed before taking the car to a road track? Figure I will be losing HP after 135

Those are fine, you don’t even need to pull timing at 135. I wouldn’t sweat it unless your IATs were consistently over 150 IMO. The temp sensor is at the back of the blower now, so it’s not comparable to NA or centri blower cars.

That is right in-line where it should be for the ambient temp. Mine hit 131 yesterday in 88 degree weather after I ran 5th gear out to 6500rpm. 3.375 pulley hitting about 9.9psi of boost. My tune doesn't pull timing until 154 and I have yet to see a temp that high with it.
