Boral ATAK Axle back

Has anyone installed the Atak on a vert? I just picked up a 17 vert to replace my 16 coupe, the coupe had NPP and I loved that exhaust. The 17 vert is a 1SS and has standard exhaust and I want something more aggressive. Question is how loud is the ATAK for a convertible with the top down. Will it drive the wife crazy?

I installed a Borla Atak on my '17 Vert. It was loud at startup, but smoothed out
when driving. If you're cruising with the top down. you'll be fine, if you're in stop and go traffic, it'll roar when you step on it, but that's what makes it fun!

Yes, the stock exhaust on the 1SS sucks. All of the Challengers sound great.
The Borla Atak is their most agresssive. The Borla S is a bit milder but still nice.
I went with Magnaflow Competition. The race series is louder. I like it but there is some drone in the cabin with the top up and with AFM clicking on and off.

Just installed my Atak A/B, it'll take awhile to break in, but so far I've noticed the sound in the car at idle and cruise is very comparable to the NPP (I always ran with the fuse pulled) However idling from the outside of the car has a much deeper tone. The real difference is when you step on it, for only being an axle back-it screams. Can't wait to get some miles on it and let the true tone settle in
