SS 1LE Hood with Race Louvers - Perfect for track junkies with superchargers!
I am selling my hood from my SS 1LE with about $600 of race louvers installed.
These actively work to extract heat from the hood/engine bay area and will work great with supercharged cars. Selling the hood because I removed the supercharger and put in an aftermarket 427 with a hi-ram and the hole that would have resulted from cutting the louvers out and putting the hi-ram in would have been visually ugly and not really helped. Hood is wrapped in matte black and is painted white. Obviously the wrap will help it blend in to any color vehicle. Pricing - Hoods without damage are going for $650-850 depending what junkayard/ebay etc you're looking at, the race louvers are $600 with shipping/tax and all of this is before installing them... Looking for $400 picked up, I will not ship, it's too large. I would be willing to meet someone halfway within 200 miles of Charlotte NC. If you *really* want to ship it, have someone local pick it up from me and have them ship it
