It's just not C8 owners, c7z06 also do the same thing. They are color blind, or something ;p

I also had a mild heart attack when he entered turn 1 from 140 down the straight to 70mph (that is a 90MPH turn)

Didn't look that bad to me. You were certainly faster in the corners but I didn't see any blocking. He even let you past in the end.

I see what you mean, he was clearly, slower then you. Good driving, I subscribed to your channel

I do not know if you have ever done HPDEs before, but you are supposed to let faster cars, by, I was 2-3 seconds a lap faster then him. One he signaled me by, within a half a lap, I did not even see him in my mirror. Just because he is faster in a straight line, does not mean he is faster per lap!!
He got reprimanded by the event organizers, apparently he also slowed up several other faster cars, and got complaints.

That wasn't that bad, he should have let you by earlier.

I had a fun experience at the Nurburgring last year where a poorly driven 911 GT3 didn't want to let me pass. Until a McLaren Senna showed up.

Nope, im doing my first one on the 19th at carolina motorsports park. I understand he should have let you by sooner, but I wouldn't call it blocking. I don't think he went out of his way to prevent you from passing, as in moving to block a passing attempt. Anyways I'm looking forward to my first one, good luck to ya. Seems like you're getting a lot of track days in, I have another one 2 weeks after in VIR! Maybe we'll share the track one day. Thanks for sharing the video.

This went on for 3 laps before, I started footage. But I did not want to boar everyone, for 5 laps he held me up.
Good luck on your hpde journey, it’s a lot of fun, enjoy
Your welcome, I love these cars and love showing how they are the best track cars for the money

Great video, that Senna was flying!
BTW I did not show all of the laps the C8 held me up, would have been too boring, he held me up for 5 laps
It was not a race, I was a lot faster, he should have let me by, 3 laps earlier

Oh snap, I did not realize that. Yeah, 1 lap is too long, 5 is torture!

I think *laughs* he actually made you faster. 2:28’s unless you’re hiding some of your faster Sebring laps. I enjoy your videos.

If you get held up by a douche bag, then just do a cool down lap or drive down pit lane and create a 30-45 second gap.

Get more experience and run with groups like NASA HPDE 4 that allows open passing (when you're ready).

Or do Time Trials and they'll grid you by lap time, plus open passing (win-win).

Don't post videos simulating "racing" during HPDE days.

This was the last session of the day, and there was a fast silver Porsche behind me, I wanted to see what he had. That’s when the C8 let us by, because he would have been holding 2 cars up. It was worth the wait, when I was chasing the Porsche, I did my fastest laps of the day.

BTW I never pass my videos off as racing, just showing what a good driver, can do, with a inferior car. Everyone knows, there are no point by’s in racing!!
I have raced in SCCA for 3 years full time, 20 years ago, so don’t lecture me on racing. The videos are supposed to be fun to watch, don’t take it so serious
