(digital) Build sheets are stupid and you can get a printed copy of the build sheet at a Chevy dealer, you don't need anyone special. Now what would be cool is to get a replacement factory window sticker like Ford will give you (if your vehicle isn't over 3 years old, used to be 5).

Someone please enlighten me what the want is for the build sheet? I have mine and it's really pointless IMO. I could see wanting to keep the original physical copy that was in the car from the factory if you're the collector type but it's really pointless otherwise unless you wanted to verify the model you bought is actually the model that was sold to you (i.e. SS disguised at a 1LE, or a non-RS a RS)...

Emig5m - Paperwork, any paperwork, is cool to alot of car people. I have kept all of mine, even the mailings from GM. I have my window sticker framed and the other paperwork in a binder. Why?...explaining it to you would be like explaining it to my wife - I don't even try.

Uh, re-read my post and comprehend it correctly. I said wanting the "digital" copy of the "build sheet" is pointless. Why would it be like explaining it to your wife? That doesn't make any sense, I like to collect all the original docs to my vehicles as well:

I frame my window stickers too, you just didn't read my post carefully and comprehend it correctly. Hell, I still have the air bag warning tag in my glove box! And I did say I can understand wanting to keep the "original physical" build sheet. The digital version of the build sheet, or a print out from a dealer to this car is totally pointless unless you just want to verify you where sold a legitimate model (not a non RS dressed up as a RS and sold as an RS). Take care...

What I don't understand is why someone would come on a thread like this and tell everyone that the act of courtesy that is being offered free of charge is stupid. If you are not interested you don't need to PM you number to him. But don't bash his act of kindness just because you are not interested.

You don't even need this guy to get it... it's nothing special... anyone can go to their local Chevy service department and get it...
