To be fair it's because those things are ridiculously slow unless it's one of the newer ones (they all look the same from the last 20 years). My wife drives a Wrangler, they're fun in the summer but I wouldn't own one for an everyday vehicle personally. Thing's always having trouble, gets about 12MPG (it's lifted so that hurts it), and it's uncomfortable to ride in. In those summer months though, it's an absolute blast with the top and doors off.

We're all expecting the mods to begin. We'll call it the Farmer Fran (Copo inspired) Wrangler: fuel-injected Big-Block 572, tubbed rear section for narrow axle drag set up, new super-low drag suspension, drag slicks and skinnies, and roll-barred open top to showcase Fran's smiling face. We also want before-and-after ETs and top speed. Something along the lines of this https://www.motortrend.com/features/...less-traveled/, just way more over the top!

I loved that Camaro. Wife and I drove from Charlotte to Tampa in a 2 day road trip to get it. But no way I was keeping a dealer engine swap car

Congratulations on the Jeep!
We did a similar thing back in January, but it appears to have worked out even better for me... I've been a Camaro owner for the past 12 years (ordered a new 2011 2SS in 2010, and had a 2017 2LT for the past 4 years). My wife wanted a new Ford Bronco, so we ordered one in Sept 2021 and it arrived Jan 2022. At the time, the Camaro was pretty much paid off, so I traded it in towards the Bronco, as I got for it exactly to the $$$ what I paid for it 4 years earlier. Absolutely loving the Bronco, it's great fun, top off, doors off fun! But then, come April, I was having pangs for a Camaro again, so April 30th, ordered a 2023 Camaro 2SS Convertible. Just waiting for it to be built, and then we'll have gone from 0 convertibles on the first of Jan 2022, to hopefully 2 convertibles by the end of 2022, if it ever gets picked up to be built! Enjoy your time in the Jeep - I am currently driving our Jeep Grand Cherokee (not the same I know... but...) Have fun!

The steering is a little floaty but other than that it is comfy. And with the eTorque it hit 60 in 5.7 seconds. While no SS speed that is not too slow

Jeep? Brother in law can get me the employee discount on a new one but the dealers all want me to order one for the discount price. Looking at a Gladiator for the wife.
