I doubt anyone with a '17 and probably many '18s is out of the woods - if any of them get stress cracks it's probably just a matter of time and type of use

That’s what I’m doing. I don’t really care to do a cam, but I’d be stupid to not bulletproof the motor while I was in there.

Well apparently my car already had the oil pump replaced at 10,100 miles. 2018 ZL1 Build date 8/17
I guess i don't have to worry about it anymore How can that not show up on the carfax of the car? Does anyone here work at a GM dealer? If so, please let me know if you would be willing to assist me in getting a repair history from GM. My dealer did not want me to keep a copy of it. I was able to read it and that's how I see that the oil pump was replaced. Sent from my moto g(7) power using Tapatalk

Yes but how come this info didn't show up on Carfax? I'd like to know as I imported my Z from the US and the Carfax was clean.
