2018 Camaro ZL1 1LE 20,40,60 rolls
Hey everyone new to the forums, recently bought a ‘18 ZLE. I’ll be doing some rolls in Mexico with friends for fun. I have only roll raced a couple of cars with my current stock set up.
Questions I have.... 1. What mode do you guys recommend for roll racing? 2. What gear and rpm for 20roll? 40roll? & 60roll? 3. Anyone running Mikey Thompson ET Street SS with the stock wheels 19inch? If so how do handle? Hook? Also if possible provide picture(s) Thanks in advance! Excited to be part of the Camaro family |

Using the A10 in roll racing has been debated more than...Trump... but 1st and 2nd gears are almost unusable in the >= '20 A10 under wot.

Agree !!! On an A10 I would say Sport Mode, use the performance shift mode and let it go,,,, on a 35-45mph roll you should be on 3rd gear I think so.

The problem I've found is if you go WOT in Sport Drive at 40 mph, it downshifts and spins the tires badly. Thus I start in Manual and shift to Drive maybe halfway thru 3rd around 5000 rpm.

Track PTM Sport2, Sport1 if you want minimal wheel spin.
Goto Track mode and double tap slowly the TC button and then select one of the two above

I dont believe most people can handle this at 20 mph ! Most drivers will be safer/faster with traction control on. Smooth sticky asphalt? Smooth concrete ? Yes A road that's bumpy, pot holes and uneven surfaces or hard asphalt that has rough then smooth highway? Your car will make someone a real good donor with the LT4 in a wrecking yard !
