If anyone happens to ever be interested in their original invoice for their car, I also got this info:
" Good afternoon Brandon, Thank you for your interest in the GM Media Archive. The information the Archive may have on file for your 2014-2015 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 is a vehicle invoice. The vehicle invoice is the documentation of the vehicle cost broken out by model and factory options. It contains the original ship to dealer information, MSRP and invoice number that General Motors used to bill the dealer. The collection is archived in various formats including microfilm, microfiche, and CD and is organized by VIN number. The collection covers almost all cars & trucks produced in the United States starting with the 1977 model year. Vehicle Invoices are printed from microfilm, microfiche, or CD and then scanned and emailed as an Adobe PDF for $50 USD. You may also want to visit the GM Heritage Center website for general information about your vehicle. Here is the link... https://www.gmheritagecenter.com/......le-information.... Allied Vaughn is a tier one supplier to GM and manages the General Motors vehicle invoice/build record collection. If paying by credit card, your account will be charged upon fulfillment. Your credit card will be processed by Allied Vaughn. Please complete the attached order form, including your payment information, and return it to us. Once received, we can begin researching the document for your vehicle. Fulfillment can take up to 10 business days. I have all the original build sheets that shipped with the car. If I remember correctly there are 3.

Where were they located? Is it a treasure hunt like the old muscle car days? Always heard stories of them behind rear seats or folded up under dashboards but I never found anything but old cigarette butts, gum rappers or petrified French fries.

Thanks hoodcheck. Got my build sheet via email in two days. Thanks for the info.
I already have the window sticker price sheet so not a big issue. You know what I would love to get for my Z, and I would even pay for a copy. The certificate of authenticity. They have a post here and I’ve tried both ways, calling GM media and the dealer who sold my Z. No luck yet. It’s a black sheet with all the specs, Z logo, and Z serial number. I would like to frame it.

I took it home without the PDI performed by the dealer. I have everything that shipped with the car. I peeled the plastics and installed the Splitter. I restored a 69 Chevelle with 23K miles on it. The build sheets were glued to the front inner fender wells. Still have them somewhere...a long with a MN Road Map from 1969. Still have the car too...restored in 1990. Restored might not be the right word...

Thanks for the info 4 FN 27. Man, ANOTHER bad-ass '69 Chevelle. GearheadSS has a beauty also. My favorite add:

I emailed them last week. Haven’t heard back. I have the window sticker and the build sheet from the trunk. Didn’t know there was more than one. I will have to look around!
