800whp on stock high pressure fueling and stock cam...what do I need?
I currently have a 9.1 pulley, 2" catless headers, intake and tune. I really don't want to install a cam nor do I want to spend huge money on a high pressure fuel upgrade or secondary fuel injectors. I don't even want to run meth, but can if I must.
What I am willing to do is upgrade supercharger and maybe upgrade the low pressure fuel system if needed. Is it possible to get 800whp on 93oct with stock cam and fueling? Perhaps with a Whipple or Procharger? What is your experience? Last edited by GT-ER; 11-20-2018 at 10:21 PM. |

Hmmmmmmmmm, my gut says no, but anything is possible I guess. You'll need some kind of fueling I'd imagine. Something............meth, E85, low side. I think you can get away with it without a cam.

Was thinking the same thing. My buddy just did a Whip. He got 841 to the wheels, but he did cam and low side and e85. On 116 he got 901. He has the same supporting mods I have except he's on the Whip.

Im at 750 with E77 and a boat load of meth. 9.55 lower 2.31 upper. Stock cam.
You need a bigger blower. You MAY be able to reach your goal with a 2650 or F1A |

Magnuson has a direct replacement 2300 for your Lt4 blower and we have a 2650 coming out in January or February. We had a 2650 on a C7 Z06 for Speed Engineering. I hope you consider one of those for sure.

Setup 1. upgrade blower and Aux pump tune and run on c16 cheapest short term, fuel will be expensive in the long run.
Setup 2. Aux pump and Kaytech's Hi side pump it's out for vette's should bolt on to a zl1 would probably need a shop to make the hard high side fuel lines also upgrade blower or spend a ton in blower porting, 103mm TB, and exchangers or wait for the the zl1 kit Setup 3. 2650 eforce (its out), lingenfelter 8:2 cam, lingenfelter hi side pump, lingenfelter injectors or FIC and Aux pump should get you to 800 with head work 850 on 93. On e85 if the aux pump is as good as Lingenfelter's in tank pump they have 960 plus

How far do you think you can push the ZL1 with the Mag 2300 and low side fuel system? Of course with headers but no cam or other fuel system. Straight 93 octane.

I've considered them for sure, still am. Just don't know if any SC upgrade is worth it without also upgrading fueling/cam. It's seems like stock SC is the way to go and if you want more then dump $12k+ to get more. :

You should pick up at least 110 rwhp with the aid of an aux pump or boosta!
With a good set of headers, port the snout of the blower to accept a 103 mm and using a 103mm TB I see 700 rwhp.. Port the heads and you might get 730 at the wheels all on 93 octane.
