Stingray<Camaro<GS<Z06 for looks. C7 needs the widebody to complete the look.

He's a NorCal dude with both a Camaro and a Corvette. The real answer is: It went to taxes.

Well, after owning Corvettes for 20 years I will agree is a very nice car but age and the log wagon ride of a Corvette I was ready to go back to a Muscle Car.

I will disagree that the Corvette is best all around. Let's just say you own two nice cars.

That is why alot of people get the Gran Sport. Has the same body as the Z06 but same engine as the base Corvette.

Log Wagon ride? They ride as nice or better than the Camaro. The handling was better in my Vette but overall I like my Camaro as well or better than a C7 Corvette. I actually went to buy a C7 Grand Sport when I bought my Camaro SS Fifty vert. The Camaro was on the showroom floor and looked soooo sweet I could not pass it up.

LOL I stopped following this. Got some real haters which made me laugh. These 2 cars are different animals. My C7 is just brutal. Which all the power it can be a handful to drive and trying to commute in this CA traffic is just a joke. The SS is amazing. Good gas mileage, fun, and looks great. I have no regrets on a single model I did. It's the perfect commuter for ME. With that said I have had 1 person in a month pull up next to me and comment on the Camaro. Everytime I drive the C7 I get some sort of thumbs up. Yellow is not for everyone but it is my 4th yellow Corvette and in total i have had roughly 8 in my 25 years of driving. This isnt a comparison as to which is better. Bottom line is I open the garage and have a dilemma everyday. Great place to be. Thank you to those with the positive comments. I do feel I am truly blessed to have this American choice.

It's not fair to compare the two IMO. Two different cars really. Both have their strong points and their weak points, I'd hope the more expensive car is better. I went with another 6thgen because I do a lot of driving, much easier with the Camaro than a C7...otherwise I would've gone C7 because...well...it's a better car.

Sorry, owned both as well and spent a lot of wheel time in friends Corvettes as well on trips to car shows across the country and let's just agree to disagree on the ride.

Vette definitely looks better than the Camaro. I'd love to have a grand sport next to my ZL1.

Coming from a 2009 Corvette, I naturally wanted another Vette. However, this Camaro caught my attention and tugged on my strings more than the Corvette, so I grabbed a Fifty Anniversary. While getting an oil change 2 weeks ago, I browsed the Corvettes on the showroom floor and gave thought to trading it in. Even the finance manager tried to nudge me to get the Vette, but there's something about the Camaro that I can't let it go...not now anyway. In other words, if a Corvette came into the picture, I'd have to find a way to have them both...not replacing the Camaro for a Vette.

Smart move to hold on to the Camaro. Both cars are great, but with the upcoming mid-engine C8 likely to be unveiled by March, I'd wait and see if it tugs at your wallet more.

No money for a mid-engine car again, but I will hold on to this SS for a while!

Having both is absolutely amazing. Depending on my mood and where I'm going (and weather) helps dictate which of the 3 I'll drive
