Some folks do. Mine is put away until Stratford sends out the street sweepers after the snow is gone.

In my very, very limited convertible experience driving topless below 50 degrees is just silly - even with heated seats on. I'll drive it if the roads are clear of snow, ice and salt as much as possible but with the roof on.

50°F used to be my low end cut off for driving with the top down. As we got further into fall and temps started to drop, I decided to see what it's like at colder temps. About a month ago, I drove to work with the top down when it was 40°F a little after 6AM. It wasn't too bad with a fleece lined jacket, my seat warmer on, heater set to about 80°F (didn't even have it on full blast), and windscreen up. To others, I may have looked silly...but I don't worry about what others think when I drive my car.

Daily driver for me. However, I decline to drive in snow but I can work from home as needed.

I live in chicagoland, and drive everyday. Drives good, but when it gets a few inches I will change from Tour to Snow mode.

So far I had a 2012 coupe and the convertible is no worse for sound or winder driving!

Nope..... it’s a perfectly awesome gorgeous powerful beast that should only go outside when the full sun is shining and it’s warm enough for top to be down

I don’t typically have the vert out unless the weather is good enough for top down fun.

I figure 50 and above is the rule for my bike and it’s the same for the vert. However, I will admit to being anxious to get the car out at times and kicking it with the top down, windows up, heat and seat heaters on blast.

I drive it year round but don't usually put the top down in very cold weather in case the material gets brittle. Don't want any cracks.

No way not ever, I have a all around winter ride .the car was brought to drive with the top Down. so warm spring summer early fall weather as long as it's above 17 c other then that she is put away for winter. Not only for the cold but for the snow ice and salted roads up here in Canada I don't what her to rust . I want her to last and look great for as long as possible, by the way so many people forget to know how to drive in winter it's safer in our garage. Have fun where ever and when ever you drive your rag top or any fun car for that matter.

I had driven my Miata with the top down at 24 degrees. As long as the roads are dry with no salt on them I have no issue with this. Our Camaro has heated seats and steering wheel so I am in the lap of luxury. The wife has a slightly different outlook. As for the top, it's canvas so you can safely operate it at lower temperatures if you desire.

Always put the car up for the winter. Normally doesn't see rain. Have made good use of heated seat and steering wheel.
