I was really hoping the 5th gen would resemble the TF4 camaro in a lot of respects.

With that camo, the way the upper and lower grills meet make the car look like an angry ghost hahaha

Not Jumping to conclusions yet

Can not really tell, too much Euro stuff to throw us off. I hope the tail lights are not anything like the pictures show. I still like the original camaro tail lights on mine, the new tail lights do nothing for me and will keep mine if it has changed like the 2014 did.

My guess is that very little of the body panels used here are transferring to the actual production car. Too much fugly to make sense like the lame rear spoiler. Thinking they are some time away from final details so used panels from parts bin that would fit the platform to drive,,,, looking like what is seen in pics there is no reason for cloth cover as still likely far away from final production appearance. Taking a lesson from the C7 handbook and will be one bad ass car upon reveal. Corvette owners/buyers were speculating, getting pissed off, etc...which all helped with the buildup to the actual reveal.

BTW, the good news is that this was taken near Nurburgring meaning they are testing performance. Previous benchmarks will only be beat so performance will be up on all versions. The C7 or C7ZO6 have yet to have 'ring numbers' announced.

Makes it look like a Pontiac symbol is covered up

I really don't like that muffler though. Buying a 6th gen would mean I'd have to do my own custom true-dual exhaust

I have to agree. In 2014 I was thinking about "upgrading" from my 2010 daily driver to the new one... then I saw the tail lights on the 2014! UGH!!! All I see is a Honda Accord! I know some folks like them... but no one I know personally does.

For me the jury is still out on the 2016 because you can't tell too much from all the camo tape... but my 2010 might be the only Camaro I'll ever own.

I will give GM credit for one thing... at least they are staying RELATIVELY true to the body styling unlike what they did in '70. (can't say like that particular spoiler on the 2016).

The more I look at this car, the more I hate the hood opening. Why have it so rounded? It looks weird.
